艺术家简介

REDIC是一位常驻上海的美国跨领域艺术家。他的作品特点是集合多种媒材来进行创作，包括拾得物品做的装置、绘画、原创音乐、诗歌、光和声音，再加上摄影和表演，共同呈现成为一种特别的艺术体。
REDIC的艺术目标是通过这些作品来表达对上海人民和这座城市丰富历史的敬意，他在过去的8年里一直生活在这里。为了做到这一点，他回收了16扇上海旧住宅的门，在这些门上他进行了前卫的组合，并在每扇门上都画上了画，以感谢上海充满活力的现在和它生动的未来!
REDIC (Chicago, …) is a Shanghai-based American multidisciplinary artist. His work is characterized by use of multimedia assemblage of found objects installation, painting, original music, poetry, light and sound enhancement with photography and performance collaboration to create a unique body of artistry.
REDIC’s artistic aim through this body of work is to pay homage to the people of Shanghai’s and the city’s rich history where he has now lived for the past 8 years. To accomplish this he reclaimed 16 old Shanghainese residential doors upon which he rendered his avantgarde assemblage and paintings on each of the doors to acknowledge Shanghai’s vibrant present and it’s vivid future!
