The highest level of inner tranquility is keeping our heart calm despite staying in a place full of distractions as hustle metropolis. Unlike those who have had their name well known to the public, I tend not to label myself with many introductions, titles and popular modifiers. The only things I would like to share are my impressive paintings. Even people who are familiar with me might not entirely understand my paintings, but for those who really love my works, a glance over those images is enough for them to feel the same emotion as I do. I have the confidence to gain others’ trust through my work even without my resume of previous experiences. Art is deeply rooted in my soul, which I treasure with all my heart. Art is pure, with sparkling flames of blazing fire at its core. It is not just composed of simple musical notes or color. For me, it is more like a familiar friend rather than merely a way of expression. I do believe that it is the spiritual harbor and dreamland of mankind as a whole, in which we can tell and share our sufferings and happiness with appreciators. More specifically, art is inclusive and infinite in its essence and content. As one of the forms of art, painting comes into being without too much consideration or planning; it just goes with the composer’s natural flow of feeling. As a result, I do not think that we need to leave too many notes on it. Even though it is hard to find the group of people sharing same interesting soul, I am always looking eagerly for those who can truly comprehend my work. As I claimed before, painting is not a simple formalism, but a free conveyance of the painter’s feeling in their own way. Thus, now I would like to make some brave trials to express my ideas and to do something that other people dare not do, since only when the work is embedded with my thought does it really belong to me. They ought to be unique and distinctive compared with those done within the fixed frames and requirements of modern painting style.
